THE PATHWAY TO FELLOWSHIP

Early career professionals can embark on the journey to attaining the prestigious FACR.

\"nysrs-kathleenFellowship is one of the highest honors an ACR member can achieve and recognizes a history of service to organized radiology and medicine, teaching, and/or research. Fellows are represented by diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians, interventional radiologists, and medical physicists.

The ACR Committee on Fellowship Credentials (CFC) measures each interview with the Bulletin, Kathleen A. Ward, MD, FACT, fellowship chairperson of the Illinois Radiological Society and a member of the CFC,  discusses how the ACR is ensuring that Fellowship is available to all members who have demonstrated outstanding service – and urges early career professionals to start preparing now for the honor to build their careers toward earning this highest level of ACR membership.

RESIDENT AND FELLOW SECTION

\"\"2019 ACR Capitol Hill Day

Welcome to the New York State Radiological Society Resident and Fellow Section!

The New York State Radiological Society (NYSRS) sponsors and supports a Resident and Fellows Section (RFS) comprised of residents and fellows in radiology training programs throughout New York State. The RFS is run by elected officers and focuses on issues important to residents and fellows during their training in diagnostic and interventional radiology.

The RFS works closely with the many leaders in radiology and business throughout the state and nationally, via the American College of Radiology.  Whether it affects your education, work environment or future as practicing physicians, the NYSRS-RFS ensures your voice will be heard by the institutions, regulators and elected officials who impact our careers.

It is free to join and easy to become involved! Please email one of the officers listed below if you are interested in becoming involved.

The Penny Farthing in the East Village was a great venue for us, so we may have found a new home! Make sure you don’t miss out next year!
